About Small Chapters Doing Big Things
Why Are We Here
Many student want to be involved in FFA but can't. Many chapters have eager young minds excited for the opportunities presented to them, but there is no funding available. Elizabeth Sides was lucky in being part of a growing chapter that had funding to support the growth, but many students are not. Lizzie set out to make a change to allow for more students to be involved in FFA. Small Chapters Doing Big Things takes in applications from small or struggling FFA chapters based on business projects or community service events that have changed their communities. Small chapters will compete across the state of Texas at the district, area, and state levels. District winners will win a grant to buy supplies and an award. Area winners will win grant to cover travel expenses and an award. The state winners will be able to bring a few students to State Convention and receive an award. Let's Grow Together!
